ABOUT WALLHALLA GAMES
My name is Raflar the Wanderer (also known as Ralf Wall). I have been an avid gamer since the early 1980s and I created this site to share my love of RPGs and the content I have created.
When I was in the 7th grade I was in the hospital with false appendicitis. While I was there I was reading The Hobbit and I made a map of the goblin lair in the Misty Mountains. A friend of mine saw these and introduced me to 1st Edition Dungeons & Dragons There I found a new avenue for my creativity.
When highschool rolled around I had discovered the post-apocalyptic rpg called Gamma World. We were reading “The Chrysalids” by John Wyndham which was a post-apocalypse novel with mutations – very much like the Gamma World game I was playing. With my English teacher’s help, I started the D&D club in highschool and my first group played Gamma World (with other friends running AD&D, GURPS, Top Secret, Star Frontiers, and other games).
I have played many different games, and almost all editions of D&D (sorry 4e – not you), and I like them all for different reasons.
I have so much material, homebrew options, adventures, maps, etc. from over decades of running (and sometimes playing) games.
Outside of gaming I am a graphic designer, artist, and illustrator. As of right now, Wallhalla Games is a one-man show but that could change if I convince a few friends to join in on the fun. I’m excited to see where this next adventure takes me.
SKAL!
